Fr. Taylor Passed Away - Mass and Interment Details

Father Thomas E. Taylor passed away on Saturday, 5/31/25. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am on Monday, 6/9/25, at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 6001 N. University Street, Peoria, Illinois. Visitation will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Sunday, 6/8/25 from 2pm–5pm and at 10am on 6/9 prior to the funeral. Interment will take place on Monday, 6/9/25, at Oakland Cemetery in Princeton, Illinois.

A library has been established at Holy Family Church! It is near the front entrance where the old baptistry and confessional were located. The room is still usable for confessions during COmmunal Reconciliation services. We are grateful to April Jensen who volunteered her library science skills to catalog and organize the books and media resources. Thank you, April!

Here is a list of all the books and DVDs April compiled https://bit.ly/HFLibrary.

The library will be open whenever the church is open. Please help yourself to books or DVDs and when finished, return them to the bin marked: Book Return. We will reshelve them. Enjoy finding a spiritual/religious book or DVD.

Religious book donations may be dropped off at the church rectory.
